Fortunately that ain't the case as the scripts are just as funny and draw attention to elements that may go missed on the show. And from a writing point of view, it's interesting to see how well characters and situations are developed with the sole use of dialogue and minimal action description.The scripts are printed on glossy paper with 2 or 3 high-res photos per page and are book-ended by funny e-mails and notices from David Brent himself. A definite must have for fans of The Office.

All 6 episodes are here with a couple of color picture grabs on each page to keep you remebering the faces and the tone of the situation. The great benefit of the presentation of this book is that you can give it as a present without looking like an idiot, i'm sure a present of a pulp paperback book of scripts would slightly horrify most people, this one edges into a 'thoughtful' gift.The BEST thing about this book however is that you get the guitar tab for 'Freelove Highway' in it. Guitarists who do club performances etc... may find this a great little cover to do. Also, the guy who plays David Brent(the boss), Ricky Gervais, was in a band when he was younger. He really has been there, done that and got the t-shirt!

I have every episode of The Office including the specials and I can't get enough of it. I highly recommend this book to any enthusiast of this comedy phenomenon, especially if you're an American.I consider myself pretty quick to pick up on the subtleties of British humor, and I think I catch pretty much everything, but I cannot deny that Brits speak much faster than I am used to and therefore welcome any reinforcement that the scripts give. I also like to quote funny lines from The Office and this helps me to get them right...stupid huh?Anyway, there are also some good photos of the TV scenes as they play out in the scripts. Cheers Office fans =)

I recently bought this book for my ten-year old granddaughter who lives several states away from us. At ten years of age, I was afraid the book would be too "kiddie" for her. Unlike a book store where you can go thru a book, buying online does not allow you to get a good feel for the contents. As it turned out, we spent quite a bit of time on the phone with her "riddling" me and I have to say this: while there were some pretty easy ones, there were quite a few that were hard for me too, lol! She really liked her book and it gave her lots of material to entertain herself/her friends with.

My 11-year-old son absolutely loved it! And adults found it amusing too. One minus is that the answer for each riddle is on the other side of the page and is usually a drawing, and the paper is thin enough that you can see the outline. So the person who reads the riddles can pretty much see the answer. But if an adult is reading the riddles aloud to the kids, it works out ok.

The Silly Riddles and Silly Joke books were by far the most popular books in my Reading room with my reluctant readers in 2nd and 3rd grade. Highly, highly recommend if you can stand the onslaught of jokes that the children tell you!

I bought this book for my grandsons sixth birthday. His mother reports that it has great, age-appropriate jokes and that they have had a lot of fun reading it.

This riddles are hilarious and my kids (6 and 4) liked them. HOWEVER. The pages are so thin that you can see the picture of the answer through the pages. The kids like it and I think they like that they can answer the riddle by seeing the answer, but it totally changes the point of the book.

My grandson and I have had great fun going through this book on the phone and in person. Sometimes we involved the whole family. We only did a couple at a time to prevent running out of riddles too soon.

These are super cheesy, but little kids like them. This riddles book is better than the joke book.

This is a very well-researched and written guide to the current profession of the advanced practice registered nurse with a great historical perspective on the development of the nationally-evolving Consensus Model. I'm reading it as part of my graduate family nurse practitioner curriculum, though I would recommend it to anyone considering advanced practice education who is unclear of how they should strike out on the new path.

This book was required for my program, otherwise I probably would not have read it. The content is good, it is just a little boring. Overall, I would recommend the product if you have to read it.

This is a required textbook for a class. Most of it is clearly written. Not worth keeping since the information for the NP role is evolving and will be different in future years.

This is a sweet book. First off, I should say that the author died before the book was 100 percent completed. His partner and several friends stepped in to finish the work. These acts of kindness are reflected in the book. It's plain and simple: sweet, informative, and definitely worth owning this book.Someone said this book is kind of regional, kind of written for the Great Lakes area. That someone must use "kind of" and "absolutely, 100 percent" interchangeably. This book is 100 percent written for the Great Lakes region, and while others outside the region will find it partially helpful, those in the Great Lakes area will find it extremely helpful. The book is written in a folksy/yet informational way--it does not use a lot of researcher-ese.The author(s) was obviously very passionate about the subject. I'm new to growing seedling trees from seeds. This book is a exactly what I was looking for. Yes, it could be better. More color photos of seeds and cones. Other than that I'm glad I bought it. If you're new to wanting to gather and plant seeds of trees native to the Great Lakes, this is an excellent book.One other thing: Kock's partner pauses whether she and the co-writers should have completed the book despite the then-dying authors wishes that it not be done ("too many cooks spoil the broth"). The partner made absolutely the right decision in ignoring Kock's wishes and finishing the book. When a piece of artwork is undertaken, the dying author does NOT get to take it to the grave and deprive the rest of humanity the benefit of what humanity has created. Mr. Kock did NOT undertake his book research in a vacuum--he was the beneficiary of humanity's resources. And thus should give back what he borrowed--without question. At the time, however, Mr. Kock was dying and can be forgiven his decision. All of us, however, continue to benefit from the work of humanity through Mr. Kock.This book is probably not a big seller, but it should be in this age of climate warming. Instead of hiking in the woods and taking back only memories, people should hike, pick up seeds, and get them to grow into trees. It would connect people to the land. And let me tell you, growing oak trees from acorns is an exciting venture, much better the surfing the Internet endlessly.Mr. Kock, Ms. Hansen, and co-authors: WELL DONE. Great book. Everyone (at least who loves the Great Lakes region) should read this book and plant some tree seeds. For the sake of Gaia and humanity.

Great book for Native North American tree's. A little one sided in the view point no non-native Tree's should be grown. Very good information. More than half the book is a tree by tree of how to collect and grow each type of tree and their problems (Latin name first....he is a teacher)
